Revelation 6 contains the writings of the legendary four horsemen of the apocalypse, the first of which rides the white horse. Many have speculated as to the meaning of the symbolism of this rider.
"And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon had a bow; and there was given unto him a crown: and he came forth conquering, and to conquer." Revelation 6:2
I, for years, have posed that this rider represents the successful spread of Islam.
My reason for this position rests in the description of the weapon of choice for this rider, that being a bow. This rider is an archer.
In Genesis 21:20, concerning Ishmael, we read:
"And God was with the lad, and he grew; and he dwelt in the wilderness, and became, as he grew up, an archer."
Ishmael was a son of Abraham through Hagar the Egyptian maid-servant of Sarah. Of Ishmael, it was prophesied:
"And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation."
We are seeing today the rise of this white horseman and he goes about "conquering and to conquer." Western nations are facing peril as they are invaded by "refugees" who increasingly impose their culture and religion on those nations. Courts are siding with them gradually removing Christian and Jewish symbolism and practices from society--"conquering and to conquer."
