Jesus warns us that if we receive the “mark of the beast,” we will suffer the same eternal torment as that beast.
"And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." Rev. 14:11 NASB
Understanding these symbols may help to avoid that terrible end.
In Daniel 7, the four beasts represented the occupying forces of Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. A beast, in this context, represents an imposed rule or an evil form of control influencing our government—corporative government or corporations masquerading as government. The University of Hawaii’s study determined that since 1900 secular governments have been responsible for the murder of 262 million people.
We read in Revelation 13:17 that the “mark” is the name of the beast or the number of the name. In his book, Daniel and his friends, while in Babylon, the first of the four beasts, were given new names, and likewise, Revelation 13:16 tells us we will all be compelled to receive a name and a number. We could then conclude that the name and number of the beast is not its name and number but simply the name and number that "they" assigned to us—as was the case with Daniel and his three friends (Daniel 1:7). What might that name and number represent?
Since the 1930s, parents have been enticed to register their newborns. The children were given birth certificates (and later a Social Insurance Number or Social Security Number) listing a name similar to that given to the child. That cute little "John David" born to Mr and Mrs Doe received the birth certificate listing the name "JOHN DAVID DOE." Similar sounding for sure, but not the same name.
Every manual of grammatical style of every nation, including The Canadian Style,1sanctioned by the Crown corporation that imitates Canada's government, tells us that a proper name/noun, i.e., an individual’s name, is to be written with only the first letters capitalized, as in John David Doe—no exceptions:
JOHN DAVID DOE then is not the child’s name; rather it represents the NAME of a legal entity, a "person," created, chartered, and birthed on that same date, by the government. It's a slave NAME. Because government is created by man it does not have authority over "John David," the man. However, the government does have authority over the legal person it has created, that being the "JOHN DAVID DOE." As long as John David, the man, thinks he is JOHN DAVID DOE, the legal person, he unknowingly surrenders his natural rights by consenting to be under the government's authority.
That NAME—JOHN DAVID DOE—and all it owns, belongs to its creator, in Canada's case the CROWN.
Today, most everything we receive from government, banks, municipalities, courts, employers, utilities, etc., is addressed to that NAME. Most things in our possession—our homes, vehicles, bank accounts, church properties, businesses, wages, and so forth—are registered as being owned by that NAME. Whenever we are asked to identify ourselves it must be with a government-issued document with that NAME—driver's licence, passport, credit card, boat, dog, house, etc. Today, already, we are already in a place where we cannot buy anything of value without presenting identification in that NAME. We have been defrauded by those we trusted to protect our property. This is anti-Christ.
There are two kingdoms—that of the world and that of Heaven.
"How terrible it will be for you legal experts and Pharisees! Hypocrites! You shut people out of the kingdom of heaven. You don't enter yourselves, and you won't allow those who want to enter to do so. (Matthew 23:13CEB)
Today it is by deception, in the future, we may be forced to knowingly choose to receive or reject that NAME as ours, to buy or sell. Should we reject it, we need not fear; God was able to feed and clothe more than 2 million Israelites, and their livestock, in near desert conditions for 40 years; can we trust him to care for us?

We best begin now to distance ourselves from that NAME, rather than become increasingly entrenched in its use. Refuse to identify yourself with any document that lists that NAME.
God has promised a new name to those who overcome.
