Once Perfect
God created perfection. Everything had harmony, order, and a hierarchy of purpose. The ranks of Archangels, Cherubim, Seraphim, Watchers, and Angelic Multitudes, to name a few.
One Archangel, Hellel (Shining One), was overtaken by his beauty and dissatisfied with his station as a mere Archangel. He rebelled in an attempt to be equal with God and was cast down from his position, becoming known as Satan, or simply Satan. His goal became to destroy the order of all that God created.
God created a man and gave him authority as a caretaker of God’s creation. The man was lonely and needed companionship and purpose. When the garden and the animals failed to satisfy his needs, God created the woman for the man.
Again, God established harmony, order, and hierarchical purpose on earth: man was the head of the woman, the animals, and the garden, respectively.
Satan, out of hatred and revenge, approached and deceived the woman with the lie that eating the forbidden fruit would make her equal to God. She ate and thereafter convinced Adam to eat.
Because the woman, in disregard of God, listened to Satan, she would experience pain in childbirth and be affected by his nature, driving in her a desire to rule over and to disrespect her husband, in keeping with a new delusional belief of being like a god.
Because the man, disregarding God, listened to the woman, Adam lost his authority and his favoured relationship with the land. Food would come by hard work.
God removed Adam and Eve from the garden to prevent them from eating from the tree of life and remaining in their fallen condition.
It’s in the nature of Eastern cultures to generally suppress women’s roles, while Western/Greek cultures are heavily influenced by a drive toward equality, stemming from feminism and its occult roots.
Because of these cultural differences, the Apostle Paul would be confronted with more liberal feminism than Peter would be in his ministry to the Jews.
As a direct result of the dynamics between Satan and the woman at the fall, unregenerate women embody a measure of evil not found in the man.
This is evident in the degree of attention women devote to adornment, care, and pride in their faces, hair, and attire, compared with men.
The inequality of the effect of the fall is affirmed by the difference in severity of a just God’s judgments against the two of them.
Romans 7:7 (NET) “Certainly, I would not have known sin except through the law.”
Romans 3:20 (NASB) for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
God’s commands, even those given to Eve and Adam at the fall, expose the sin in us when we attempt to obey God. Only when we become aware and repentant can we ask the Holy Spirit to put that nature to death in us.
For Eve and women today, pain in childbirth represents that significant emotional experience through which a change in their nature can occur. Only when wives set themselves to obey God’s command to submit to their husbands will they face that controlling nature to which they must die daily.
Romans 7:19-20 (NASB) For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.
Facing the sin which dwells in us is a necessary first step in its removal.
About 6000 years ago, Satan offered the woman god-like equality if she'd simply ignore God’s command. She accepted that offer. Today, Satan is making the same offer, and women are accepting it... to their eternal demise.
Galatians 5:19-21 (NET) Now the works of the flesh are obvious: …hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, envying, … and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God!
Do you regularly practice any of these fallen nature traits without remorse? If you do, expect the words, "I don't know you."
