The ETs of the Bible

Yes, the Bible does teach us about ETs (Extra-Terrestrials). By definition these are entities, living beings, whose existence does not originate from Earth—Terra.

Let’s start from the beginning, appropriately the book called “Genesis.”

We read there, in Genesis 2:1-2:

“Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. By the seventh day God completed His work.” (NASB unless noted)

That everything was created in six days is repeated in Deuteronomy 20:11 and 31:17:

“for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed.”

Since all things were created within those six days, then angels and other celestial beings were as well. Where are they now? Probably all around us or everywhere, but via frequencies to which we are not attuned without an invitation. There are, for example, frequencies of light and sound that are beyond the capability of our senses. Other creatures around us have a degree more enhanced senses than ours, such as the sonar of dolphins and bats and the keen hearing and smell of dogs.

Since angels are often symbolized as the stars, perhaps they were created at that time as well.

“Look how you have fallen from the sky, O shining one, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the ground, O conqueror of the nations! You said to yourself, ‘I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El” Isaiah 14:12-13 (NET)

“It grew up to the host of heaven and caused some of the host and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and it trampled them down.” Daniel 8:10

These verses are of particular interest. They allegorically tell of a particular celestial being who arrogantly set himself above all others. What is significant is that we are told that angels were created to be “ministering spirits”1 for mankind, our link between the physical and the spiritual. One angel rebelled against this notion of serving mankind. This one was named Helel (i.e. shining one), or Satan as we know him today, had been one of the high-ranking Archangels with Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael (all suffixed with ‘el’ meaning of ‘Elohim’ or ‘of God’). His role may have been that of worship. Ezekiel 28, using the allegory of King of Tyre, describes Helel’s role, his pride, and his rebellion against his role. It is often an overlooked fact that sin originated in heaven.

As a result of his rebellion, Satan was removed from heaven and cast to the earth. This likely happened at a point in time before he deceived Eve in the Garden called Eden. It’s hard to speak of time when discussing events in a frequency/dimension where time does not rule.

We read as well that when Helel, renamed Satan a.k.a. the Devil, Beelzebub, the serpent, etc., was cast out of heaven, one-third of the angels elected to follow him, all rejecting the role of service to man and determined to destroy the focus of God’s interest, mankind, the blame for their demise:

Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. And his tail *swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. Revelation 12:3-4

These angels, having rejected service to mankind and life with God, had nothing to be redeemed too. They were now unredeemable. All that was left to them was to “steal, kill and destroy”2 all of creation. Their end-of-time fate was sealed.

“For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and ... then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance” Hebrews 6:4-6

To interact with Eve, Satan used a reptilian form, that of a serpent, a lowly life form compared to most of the others, to aid in the deception:

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” Genesis 3:1

This event led to the ‘fall of man.’ Pertinent is the principle or maxim of law derived from scriptures that, “He who created the liability must provide the remedy.”

These fallen celestial beings, angels, can take on various forms:

“Here shall stand the angels who have connected themselves with women, and their spirits assuming many different forms are defiling mankind” Enoch 19:1

When Eve and Adam chose to obey/follow Satan’s directive to eat from that tree, their nature was tainted and their penalty was death—but they, and their offspring—us—remained redeemable. In keeping with the maxim above, God obligated himself to provide a remedy. That remedy, i.e. redemption, occurs when the debt penalty for our disobedience is paid—and it must be paid. Death was the required payment. When we recognize our need for redemption the options are simple, either we pay the debt with our death, or we ask God to include us in His ‘class action’ death payment plan—Jesus’ crucifixion. Paid in full!

Back to the ETs...

It seems reasonable that since Satan was/is unable to avenge his expulsion from heaven against God, he would set his sights on destroying those dear to God.

It is paramount that we know that lies and deceit are the very nature and essence of Satan and his followers:

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

Satan’s premier attempts to destroy mankind are recorded in Genesis, starting with the fall of Eve and Adam, then Cain against Abel, and then mankind in general:

Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. Genesis 6:1-2

The term, ‘sons of God,’ is used exclusively in the Bible for those directly created by God. Adam and Eve were such, as were the angels, even the fallen, however, Cain, Abel, Seth, their sisters, and all that followed, born of a woman are called ‘sons of man.’ Even Jesus is/was referred to a ‘son of man’ until after His resurrection—by an act of God. And we too, born ‘sons of man’ can, after being ‘born again’ by an act of God, become ‘sons of God.’ I digress.

In the Book of Enoch, a work referenced in the Bible but not a part thereof, we find more details about these fallen angels, referred to as the Watchers:

And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqlel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens. And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them. Enoch 3:6-7

He further describes the events that follow their copulation with the daughters of men and their other interactions with mankind:

and they bare great giants3, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones. Enoch 4:3-6

That one-third of the angels, who rejected God’s leadership in favour of Helel’s (Satan), are no longer redeemable. Their fate is sealed. The offspring of the fallen angels, being impure, or unclean in spirit, were unredeemable as well. When their offspring died their spirits, being unclean, wandered the dimensions as demons aligned with the purposes of Satan in tormenting, misleading, and deceiving man.

“Now when the unclean spirit comes out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it. Matthew 12:43

As ‘Noah’s Flood’ approached, about 1600 years after creation, the earth had an estimated population of over 20 billion people, using standard (and conservative) population calculations based on lifespan and 5 offspring—a noted son and other sons (2) and daughters (2):

Then Jared lived eight hundred years after he fathered Enoch, and he fathered other sons and daughters. Genesis 5:19 (NASB)

Out of that immense population only Noah, and perhaps his family (8 people), were found to have untainted DNA (blameless or undefiled):

Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Genesis 6:9-10

“blameless” - תָּמִים: — without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright(-ly), whole. Strong’s Dictionary

These—Noah, Japheth, Ham, Shem, and possibly their wives—were untainted in their DNA and their offspring would be redeemable. I suggest, ‘possibly their wives,’ because it may be that Ham’s wife and their offspring, via Canaan their firstborn, may have carried tainted DNA across the flood barrier. The sons of Canaan, the Canaanites, were the people group from which we have Goliath and his brothers as well as the giant races of the Nephilim, Rephiem, Anakim, etc., this being the reason God required Israel to destroy the Canaanites and take their land—to prevent a recurrence of the pre-flood societal destruction.

Enoch tells of other influences the rogue angels had on the prediluvian people:

“Semjaza taught enchantments and root−cuttings, Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal taught astrology, Kokabel the constellations” Enoch 4:13

Those loyal to the fallen angels were taught secret knowledge giving them an advantage over others, causing further strife and conflict. They defiled nature—plants and animals—with that knowledge.

In the Book of Jasher, another ancient text not referenced in scripture but not included, we read:

And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke Yahuah; and Elohim saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals. Jasher 4:18

Here the rogue angels are called judges and rulers and we read of the tainting and mixing of animal DNA to produce chimera of the sort written about in Greek ‘Mythology’ such as the Centaur, Pan, Griffin, Minotaur, and others.

It’s just a bit interesting that the Covid ‘Vaccine’ uses mRNA technology. The ‘m’ of mRNA stands for ‘messenger.’  Both the Aramaic and Greek words for ‘messenger’ are the same word  translated as ‘angel.’

“angel” מַלְאָךְ : — ambassador, angel, king, messenger. Strong’s Dictionary

“angel” ἄγγελος : — angel, messenger. Strong’s Dictionary

Many have pointed out that mRNA technology is an attempt at altering our DNA. Would this taint our DNA, placing us in the same unredeemable position as a direct prodigy of fallen angels? I guess we’ll find out...

These are examples of the influence of Extra-Terrestrials on mankind.

I should point out that we have been biased to think of early mankind as hairy cave-dwellers with clubs and grunts. I think that is very far from the truth. When we see the things accomplished by early man, things we are not yet able to do, we ought to have a different, more accurate picture of very intelligent and capable people. Around the world, we see structures such as the pyramids, cities, and walls built with skills, materials, and knowledge we no longer possess, with rocks of a size we cannot today move or quarry.

Were these evidence of ETs? Perhaps we, mankind, are also subject to the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, one of the most proven of nature’s laws, whereby our abilities also decay from higher potential to lower over time—as is the dilemma of all of nature.

Could the ETs have developed on other planets and visited us here? I cannot say no, but with the nearest potentially habitable planet in the Alpha Centauri star system being some 4.25 light years away, it may be a moot point. It would take 4.25 years travelling at 670,000,000 miles per hour (the speed of light) to get here. If we could reach 500,000 mph it would take us 5,695 years to get there.

ETs or the lies and deceit of fallen angels, which is it?

A former top UK government official has claimed that NASA is “quietly funding” biblical research and theological conferences over fears that UFOs could be “demonic.” 4

Or it could be the workings of rogue celestial beings deceiving us by every means to draw us away from a God who is working to re-establish a relationship with us.

Remember how Jesus described Satan and, by association, those that follow him:

there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

If we can be deceived into following them we follow them in their fate as well.

Was YHVH, or Yahweh, at odds with Elohim and Adoni? Were they distinct entities or one entity?

Was, or is, there a Planet X or a Nibiru that houses a race of sky people that have populated Earth directly or through primates? Was the event observed or theorized?

Did Jesus marry and have offspring as some suggest or was this the fictional writings of a creative mind designed to deceive? Our most reliable account, the first-hand testimony of those who lived with him leaves us with no other position than that he remained celibate.

One thing Jesus did warn us about, regarding in the latter days, was that we not be deceived:

“...the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “... of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you” Matthew 24:3-4 (NIV)

Science, in its pure form, is the study of repeatable, observable, events. It differs from the study of history which is known to be an account written by the victor. History is inherently biased for a purpose.

The Bible is different in that, even for its most respected individuals, it tells a story of their personal moral and ethical failures as well as their victories. We read of King David’s infidelity with Bathsheba, or his pride in taking a population census. We read of Moses’ failure to obey God out of anger and the consequences. Or there is Elijah, the prophet, wallowing in self-pity, or Abraham who twice claimed his wife, Sarah, was only his sister placing her in harm to protect himself.

Try to find honesty like that in the annals of the Sumatran texts, the Code of Hammurabi, the Veta of India or others.

While truth is that thing we strive for, until we know every detail of a matter we are limited to choosing a position that we believe is truth based on the details we do know.

Recognizing our limitations it is prudent for me to add, “This is what I believe today, tomorrow, when I know more, may be different.”
