The Bible is the most amazing book! In its original languages, it is precise and exacting in its meaning. Translations, into other languages, however, may be less so.

I enjoy exploring this wonderful book looking for the subtle differences in the meanings of the original words. But this might challenge you to change some of your beliefs.

Change? Nobody likes change—especially when it affects our beliefs.  We get comfortable with our points of view, our beliefs, our dogmas… Arthur Schopenhauer said, "All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

Change! Yet God wants us to change. He wants our minds renewed, to form in us the character qualities of Yeshua i.e. Jesus. When any change, in keeping with scripture, allows me to know Yeshua in a deeper way I'd like to embrace that change.

Occasionally I get interested in a subject or issue and give it a shaking to see what clings my 'tree of knowledge' and what falls to the ground. Mostly these writings represent my personal search for truth always leaving room for adjustments.

Read, enjoy, always Bein' a Berean in the process—read with an open mind and then test it against the scriptures (Acts 17:11). How much divine revelation is labelled, "Return to Sender," because closed minds could not receive it?

“What gets us into trouble is not what we don't know. It's what we know for sure that just ain't so.” Mark Twain

The writings I’ve posted on this website are offered to challenge what you think you know. I try to keep these brief and to the point so as not to overwhelm anyone with verbiage.

Have at it, question it—but use scriptures, not traditions, not hearsay, or the like. Let me know what you find—what rings true and what doesn’t... I'd like to hear from you.

Above all else remember this, the true follower of Yeshua (Jesus) is the one who loves his enemies and also those who differ in theological perspectives. You are welcome to disagree, but not to withhold love from those with whom you disagree.

That said, perhaps we can grow together… Click here to go to those WRITINGS.

I've added audio as an option on some of these articles. Let me know if this is helpful.
